The home movie factory invites you to create your own movie, following a simple protocol, designed by Michel Gondry, in a film studio built for the occasion.
Just like Jack Black and Mos Def in the film by Michel Gondry, Be Kind rewind, you can make a movie from A to Z in a record time (3 hours!).
You want to participate? The Factory is free for everyone, so we recommend to register in advance, to form or join a group of 8 to 20 people. After a first visit of the space and a passage through the accessories, it’s time for « action »: writing the script, casting, filming and creating special effects from scratch. No training is necessary, the goal is to enjoy making your own movie. Sets and machinery, simulating both interiors and exteriors, offer you the opportunity to shoot an infinite number of stories. All necessary equipment is available for you to be autonomous.
